About Barb Friedman 
 From an 8 year old who organized her clothes on a daily schedule to a dynamic professional organizer and consultant, Barb Friedman, President of Organize IT, creates and implements innovative solutions for individuals and businesses. She has developed a variety of systems and solutions that can be applied to any organizing problem.
Barb has worked to perfect her skills and teach others how to adapt systems which will work for them. She understands that we are each unique and have our own individual style. Everyone can learn the skills necessary to organize their lives with the proper guidance. She has taught classes in organizational principles at several local universities and is a frequent speaker at businesses and corporations. Barb is a member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) and a founding member and past president of the Wisconsin Chapter of NAPO. In 2007, Barb sat for the inaugural Certified Professional Organizer exam and became one of a small group of organizers to become CPO®. Certification is a voluntary, industry-led effort that benefits the members of the organizing profession, as well as the public. The program of certification for professional organizers acknowledges the importance and value of standars in our industry. It recognizes those professionals who have met competence, ethics and professionalism. Certification of professional organizers maximizes the value received from the products and services provided by a CPO®.
